The Trews
Headliner: The Trews
One of Canada’s most successful rock bands, The Trews return to Pictou for their only Nova Scotia show this summer! With 19 Top 10 rock radio singles, multiple Gold and Platinum-certified albums, and a history of sharing stages with legends like The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, and Bruce Springsteen, The Trews deliver a powerhouse live performance you won’t want to miss.
Supporting Act: Elyse Aeryn
Nova Scotia’s 2024 Entertainer of the Year, Elyse Aeryn, will kick off the night with her nostalgic blend of alt-country and rock. Her 2023 debut album Joy State of Mind won Music Nova Scotia’s Country Recording of the Year, and her sophomore album is on the way. With a rapidly rising career and a commanding stage presence, Elyse is set to start the weekend off right!

Headliner: The Stanfields

The Stanfields
Dubbed “the bastard child of Stan Rogers and AC/DC,” The Stanfields bring their high-energy fusion of hard rock and Atlantic Canadian folk back to the Pictou Lobster Carnival stage. Known for their electric live performances, they last rocked the Carnival post-pandemic, and now they’re ready to do it again!
Supporting Act: Neon Dreams
Canadian alt-pop duo Neon Dreams—consisting of Frank Kadillac and Adrian Morris—blend pop, rock, folk, EDM, hip-hop, and reggae into their unique sound. Known for their uplifting messages and genre-blending music, Neon Dreams has won a JUNO Award, achieved Gold and Platinum singles, and played sold-out shows across Canada. Their performance on Saturday will be one to remember!

Headliner: Matt Minglewood

Matt Minglewood
Closing out the weekend, Matt Minglewood returns to the Lobster Carnival stage for a night of high-energy rock and blues. Known for his electrifying live performances, Minglewood’s band—including Moon McInnis, Emily Dingwall, Nick McInnis, and Jeff Stapleton—brings a fresh and fiery energy to his legendary sound. Get ready to dance the night away!

Fred Eaglesmith
A Canadian roots music icon, Fred Eaglesmith has spent over five decades telling raw, heartfelt stories through his music. With songs covered by country greats like Toby Keith and Miranda Lambert, Eaglesmith’s live performances blend grit, humour, and deep storytelling. Alongside his multi-instrumentalist wife, Tif Ginn, Fred’s set will be a highlight of the weekend.
