We are back with another candlelit songwriter’s gathering. Pictou County’s own Dave Gunning will host Saskatchewan-born songstress Connie Kaldor, Cape Breton’s Rose Morrison, and Australia-based Mark Lang, the producer of Dave’s latest record, Field Notes. All three will be headed to Canso right after the show to participate in the 30th anniversary edition of the Stan Rogers Folk Festival. If you can’t head to Canso, here is a great chance to preview the magic as Canada’s finest share the stage with an Australian veteran of festivals and theatre stages. The ambiance of the candles make this a perfect night out.
