They’re on their way to the city lights” — Canada’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll trio, The Stampeders, are back, bringing all the hits: Wild Eyes, Carry Me, Devil You, Ramona, Oh My Lady, Hit the Road Jack, and of course, the Hall of Fame anthem Sweet City Woman. Their music defined a generation and still carries fans back to tie-dye shirts, 15¢ coffee, and jukebox dreams.
No band captured the sound of 1970s Canada quite like The Stampeders. In March 2024, just before their Ontario tour, founding member Ronnie King passed away. In his final days, he urged the band to carry on. Longtime friend and bassist Dave Chabot now joins Rich and Kim onstage, with each show honoring Ronnie through stories and a heartfelt video tribute.
