We hope you are all staying safe and healthy. These are incredibly challenging times. With the increase in Nova Scotia’s COVID-19 numbers and the new restrictions in place by Public Health, the deCoste Centre will be closed to the public for the next two weeks (April 28-May 12) or longer should the restrictions be extended. You can be assured that when permitted, we will continue with our extensive measures to ensure your safety. Read about them here:
Staff are “Staying the Blazes Home”. You can reach us by phone or email should you have an inquiry. Our box-office hours of operation will remain as 11:30 am-5:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If you contact us outside of this time frame, or if we are unable to take your call, please leave a detailed message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. The number to contact us is 902-485-8848 ext. 1 or Toll Free at 1-800-353-5338. In addition, we can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are confident this circuit breaker will help us get back to a position where we can resume events at 25% capacity (100 seats). We will be announcing our summer line-up in the next couple of weeks, so please stay tuned to our website and social media. It is an exciting line-up, with over 20 shows planned, many with a livestream option. Once these shows are on sale, our members will be able to contact the box office to put tickets “on-hold”, reserving your spot. Once restrictions are lifted, we will collect payment and finalize your order. For tickets purchased online, an exchange or credit will be available if shows are cancelled due to renewed restrictions.
Members will receive first notification when new shows are added. Memberships are very reasonably priced at $35 and are good for one year from date of purchase. Contact the Box Office to purchase yours.
This has been a very challenging year, but we are proud to have done over 40 shows and events since last August, with a perfect safety record. When it is safe to do so, we will continue to offer shows and opportunities for the community to safely gather.
Many shows have been rescheduled, and some have been rescheduled multiple times. We are confident most of these shows will go forward when the COVID-19 pandemic has passed, and we are able to return to normal capacity. We thank you for your patience.
We will provide regular updates on cancellations and rescheduling here on this page: Schedule Updates
Please keep yourselves and those around you safe by following the restrictions and protocols put in place. We look forward to seeing you soon at a show.
