Maritime Marionettes ~ The Bremen Town Musicians and The Nativity

This delightful performance of The Bremen Town Musicians animates the spirit of the holiday season when friendships are formed through compassion, kindness and service to others.

A donkey, dog, cat and rooster discover one another in the winter season of their lives. Each feels despair over an uncertain future, for they are aging and no longer useful as a part of farm life. When they meet on the road, the old donkey gives understanding and encouragement to the other animals in turn. Sorrow is quickly transformed to excitement when they agree to become musicians and journey to the town of Bremen to play for the town.

In the spirit of the holidays, Maritime Marionettes will introduce the audience to their puppets and puppeteering, and share a brief presentation of the nativity.
