Heather Cameron “Never Land” CD Release$20
A native of Nova Scotia, Heather Cameron grew up in a musical family where she began singing and playing as soon as she was able. Exposed to a number of musical styles, she’s mastered piano, fiddle, bagpipes and guitar and has a beautiful clear voice to accompany the melodious instruments.
While a great deal of her time is now spent working as a musical therapist throughout Northern Nova Scotia, with the encouragement of J.P. Cormier, she has shared her talents with the release of a 12-track compilation of both vocal and instrumental tracks on her CD “Neverland”.
Accompanying her for the performance are the other members of the band “Trad Trio” which includes Rodger Leeder on mandolin and vocals, and Kenny Stewart on guitar. Guest musicians for the evening include Jude Pelly (mandolin and guitar), Trevor Kellock (bagpipes and whistles) and Cassie Mann (upright bass).
