The Once

Multi-award winning folk trio The Once, based out of St. John’s Newfoundland, features the lead vocals of Geraldine Hollett, along with vocalist-instrumentalists Phil Churchill and Andrew Dale.
The a capella harmonies of the trio, mixed with a varied selection of instrumental accompaniment help to create a mix of original and traditional Maritime music, foot stomping shanties, and heart rendering ballads. Their latest album Time Enough is described as their most vulnerable and honest material to date.
Their songs have been featured in international film and television, have had millions of hits with their YouTube videos and accumulated an array of nominations and trophies from the ECMA, Canadian Folk and JUNO Awards throughout the years.
